Vita 'UMD Passport' won't be offered in US

@Roxas560
So wait, that's a bad argument why? Yongousen's argument is that older generations didn't have backwards compatibility and that newer kids are entitled. Seems fair to point out that it's not true.

Yea, I remember those days! Back when I purchased an '89 cartridge of Tetris for GB and couldn't play it on my '03 GBA SP. Oh wait...

No, I must have my examples crossed. Game Boy was a handheld. Vita is a... oh yea, that's handheld too.

Well, Sony doesn't have a great history of backwards compatibility anyway. It's not like the PS2 could play PS1, and the PS3 couldn't play PS2 and PS1, right?

Reminds me of Chaos Ring and it's pricing, $12.99. Was considering getting it until I saw that.

Gran Turismo 5 gives away a Toyota, releases new DLC Pack 2

Dec 23rd 2011 2:20AM (Joystiq)
According to the Gran Turismo website, there are 1068 cars in the game. At a retail cost of $60, that's about $0.06 per car. $1 per car doesn't sound all that good. Sounds more like you tried to turn a commercial into news.

Humble Indie Bundle 4 abused by Scrooge-like Steam scamming

@BlueRajasmyk
The only way to participate in the giveaway is to have a retail game linked to the account. You can't just create a new account and join in. People are using the bundle to get cheap retail games linked and qualify for the giveaway.
Seems fair to me that people paying $0.01 get humble games by the humble website, but people paying the average get Steam availability and qualify for the giveaway.

Perhaps they should only give steam keys to those who beat the average.
Or if that's a bit high, half the average. That would be fair, right?

PS3 'Other OS' class action dismissed

@eat it
I do believe you are incorrect. Try playing God of War 3 on that unpatched console. See what happens.

I'm pretty sure there are laws against unilateral contracts. Even if it's a service that you must agree to for use.
