Sharpie Liquid Pencil writes and erases like a pencil, dries like a Sharpie (video hands-on!)

I want to know if this is #2 scantron compatible!

YouTube uploads from iPhone 4 are downsized

You can email them at full-size, right?

Then can't you just send an EMAIL to the YouTube MMS address to send it full size? (Has anyone bothered trying?)

Apple's HTML5 showcase

Yeah, it really annoyed me that I'm using Chrome which should have all of those webkit methods and more and yet the useragent checker doesn't allow me access.

My weekend Windows experience, or why I love Apple so much

Well, thats half-true. WinRAR does offer a "trial" and it just gives you an annoying pop-up if you use it beyond that trial. I consider that type of shareware "free."

Yeah, I noticed that to.

A mini-CD is suddenly an issue with Windows? That.. doesn't seem right. But it *IS* filed under humour.

I see and can feel your pain, but it doesn't really look like an issue with Windows to me, just a crappy two-bit cheap-o camera system.

Not to mention your long time use of the mac means that you didn't have flash on Windows, and you didn't know about WinRAR (free easy RAR/ZIP utility).

And the networking issues probably have a lot to do with Windows being on a Virtual Machine, making its own subnet and giving it a weird IP address.

Sucks, though.

The Bloom Box: a power plant for the home (video)

@LJKelley Another website that had featured this tech said that solar power would be a viable fuel for the bloom box (though maybe in the future).

Somehow, I fear that having these is a bad idea... It feeds off Oxygen, you say? We're still cutting down rainforests, you say? I can't wait to see Oxygen itself becoming as expensive as Oil. "YOU'RE BREATHING WITHOUT A GOVERNMENT LICENSE!"

No seriously, I think that would actually happen if enough of these ended up in homes. Most sought after resources: Oil, Water, next: Oxygen?

EROS tablet video is a lesson in why Windows 7 isn't strictly meant for finger navigation

Feb 1st 2010 5:31PM (Engadget)
In Windows 7's defense, I have to say that a lower resolution would also help with the whole finger thing - though it'd probably create for a worse finger experience.

Where is the line drawn between small navigation that *can* be kind of used with fingers, or ginormous navigation specifically for fingers that takes up half the screen (such as the OSK)?
