Batman voice actor says Arkham City will have 'future episodes'
Jul 21st 2011 4:42PM (Joystiq)Pffffffft.
Kevin Conroy has been the definitive Batman since 1992.
Puzzle Quest 2 canceled for PSP
Jul 21st 2011 2:59PM (Joystiq)Wow!
That seemed quite genuine, and not at all like the opening line from an electronic appliance bullshit scam con.

Jul 21st 2011 2:57PM (Joystiq)The arbitrary and uninspired hatred roils off off your core like the stink from a hot bowl of Spaghetti-O's.
Embrace the casual, my son.
They are not your enemy.
Spider-Man: Edge of Time dated at Comic-Con, Spidey is Mr. October
Jul 21st 2011 1:53PM (Joystiq)Holy Titty Monsters.
I just watched the trailer for the new movie.
Yes. Please. I want more.
The casting seems decent...but as long as I get more "Mirror's Edge featuring Spider-Man," I'm sold.
In fact, I would like to implore/threaten DICE to develop a Mirror's Edge featuring Spider-Man game. Seriously, DICE developers, it would...
...a) Be super-duper awesome.
...b) Prevent me from having to sneak into your apartment(s) wearing a Spider-Man outfit, tying you to your bedposts, and bare-ass farting directly into your nostrils.
It's your choice, guys. Either create an awesome first-person Spider-Man game or smell the inside of my anus.
It's totally up to you.
NintendoWare Weekly: 3D Classics Xevious, Antipole [update]
Jul 21st 2011 12:52PM (Joystiq)No way. You're crazy.
Every single console in the history of the industry has had dozens of AAA titles within a scant few months of release.
Sheeeeeeeeit. Even the PlayStation 2 had Orphen on launch day. If that wasn't enough, it got The Bouncer, Eternal Ring and Ephemeral Fantasia within months of launch! God, were those incredible titles.
But in all seriousness, I'm always befuddled by why people go bananas when a new console doesn't launch with a metric ton of quality games.
Every console goes through the obligatory growing pains. I barely touched my original DS until Canvas Curse was released. Five years later, and I find myself with more DS games in my library that proper console titles.
Star Wars: The Old Republic collectors edition revealed [update]
Jul 21st 2011 12:36PM (Joystiq)I know, right?
My cubicle is buckling under the weight of these silly things.
I would prefer that Special Editions cut the feelies (unless they're super-cool, like old-school Infocom games) and make with the actual content.
If Fallout: New Vegas' Collector's Edition gave me a code for all the future DLC, I would've been down like Charlie Brown.

Jul 21st 2011 12:30PM (Joystiq)Yeah.
He gets chicks.
NintendoWare Weekly: 3D Classics Xevious, Antipole [update]
Jul 21st 2011 12:28PM (Joystiq)Judging from Iwata's comments, it sounds like the only 3D Classics we're getting are what's already been announced.
Apparently, Xevious in 3D was such a tough nut to crack that Nintendo seems soured on the whole idea of 3D Classics.
It's a shame. I was hoping for a bad-ass Mach Rider 3D re-release.
PlayStation Store down for two-hour maintenance period today
Jul 21st 2011 12:24PM (Joystiq)I had planned to finally download Go! Sodoku today!!!!!!
I haven't been this angry since they cancelled M.A.N.T.I.S.
Why does all the culturally relevant multimedia continue to elude me??
Thank God my Netscape browser still works, so I can download Napster. I don't know what I'd do without my God Lives Underwater mp3's. Those sweet jams help me deal with the stress I feel when Tribes starts to lag over my 56.6.
Puzzle Quest 2 canceled for PSP
Jul 21st 2011 12:13PM (Joystiq)Really?
That sucks. I have the second game ready to go on my desktop...I was just waiting to beat Galactrix before I boot it up.
Unfortunately, I'm finding myself increasingly unsatisfied with Galactrix. Hacking WarpGates is getting really old, really fast...the hexagonal playing field isn't helping matters, either.
The original Puzzle Quest gave me dozens of hours of entertainment. What with Galactrix not shaping up to be a proper successor, it'd be a damn shame if PQII was yet another disappointment...
