I love the pixel graphics of this game...on my iPad!!! I'm amazed at the level of detail they put in each floor. Highly recommended.

I have it on my PSP Go and it's incredibly fun. It makes me miss the original PSO games (dreamcast & GC) even more.

It's very fun being able to level up ANYWHERE.

I just switched off my PSP Go after 45 minutes of satisfying Phantasy Star Portable 2 gameplay. This news made my night. Please do a console version and ditch the whole Universe thing.

@ZGiSH Well it's not Tarzan that I'm lamenting...what are they going to do when the game comes out and we get a lot of great levels that pay homage to obviously trademarked elements--a level based on Twilight or Metroid. Not every gamer is going to look up rights / public domain issues.

@deathxrebirth Nice! Probably why Sony used it as a springboard for inspiration.

LAME! It's lame that Sony is pushing this game as a great way to create levels based on pop culture...remember what happened a few weeks after the first game came out? Any level that referenced any other work was deleted/removed--videogame homages, movie themed stages.

This Tarzan stage would have gotten the axe.

Quit luring us to this game, Sony. You're going to pull the same stunt again once someone creates an Avatar homage jungle level or an Angry Sacbird game.

After reading this, I've decided to wait for a used copy. Yes I do believe
in rewarding developers/artists for their hard work but charging for
needed game enhancement via DLC should not be the way to go.

I bet it's not a legal hurdle but a hurdle with retail buyers.

Why would a store want to stock PSP games if they have to compete with online distribution. I'm sure Sony is desperate for any shelf space they can get for the PSP.

I wish I could have bought Phantasy Star Portable online. I had to buy a used copy of Ridge Racer since my original UMD went kaput.

I would easily buy Patapon 2 if it was available online.

One of the best iPhone games. It made me reach the "can't put this game down and quit" point.
