I'm worried they used this time to remove the Japanese characters and replaced them with (in my opinion) dull, Americanized players.

Oh well..if they did, at least there's a lot of other games out there so it won't be too bad to pass it up.

I wear mediums...in fact smalls and loves my videogames. I'll proudly wear Cortina around all of the clubs in San Diego.

We shouldn't care... studios don't really care who wins until it reaches a point when they can sell at mass levels. I followed DVD from 1997 to now and Paramount was the exact same way. When they finally allowed their library to go on DVD, they charged the highest prices with the least amount of extras. They didn't come around to lowering their price and adding extra junk until everyone else did.

Movie studios may have already lost the war no matter which format wins--I see everyone downloading DVDs and new movies at the same level of ease as music and Napster circa 1999. The worrisome part is nobody seems to care about resolution, compression and video quality--they just want to see Transformers or Superbad for free.

That demo was awesome. Ever since Blade Runner, I've loved hearing that music in fantastic settings (swing era, 30-40's stuff). At one point in the demo, I paused and enjoyed the radio (I believe the ballroom kitchen).

As a PS3 owner with a 1080P LCD HDTV--I don't think the PS2 compatibility issue is a big deal. It's sometimes painful to watch a 480P PS2 game on a 46 inch screen.

I would rather do it through software and have the graphics get upscaled (if possible).

Plus, they haven't resolved the problem of PS2 hard drive saves getting deleted so it might be a good thing to downplay the BC feature.

My parent's birthday is coming up...they were born 2 days appart. I lost track of their ages--somewhere around 66.

My siblings and I are getting them a Wii. Everytime I stop over to their house for free dinners, they request that I bring along my Wii. My worst situation: I did this on a Saturday night and they played until 11PM--I had friends waiting at a club for me! When they take care of their grandkids, guess who hogs the Wii for Bowling?

In my field (illustration/graphics), there's a big need for a tablet Mac WITH pressure sensitivity. Right now, the only option is the Wacom Cintiq but it's pricey and you need to lug a laptop or mac with you. Pressure sensitivity is important for apps like Painter and Photoshop. I have money saved up for a Cintiq AND a new Macbook Pro. If Apple comes out with a good tablet Mac I'll be very happy.

Turkey with a fixing of Wii Sports (nobody was impressed--old folks I guess).

I'm getting a replacement Wii this week because I got an error when trying to sign-in to the shop. (Error 205927) If you check their website, the page you get for that error states that you have to get your unit repaired. Customer service (phone) also confirmed that my unit is poop.

Maybe they have some weird DRM things going on since I have no problems going online, managing game saves or playing games--the error pops up when the store should be done loading.

For my replacement, I have to drive to Chatsworth (an area a bit North of Los Angeles). It would probably be easier to have them ship me a new unit but I wanted to have it in my hands by Turkey day.
