I played "Virtual TGS Simulator" once. In it, you play in first person and have to wait 30 minutes to play a demo just because the antisocial, rice-chomper of an Otaku infront of you just HAS to fully complete it, all the while he ignores the polite twitterings of a razor-thin female clad in coloured cling-film to GIVE THE OTHER PEOPLE A GO.

If you have enough, I recommend eating at the nearby Tony Roma's, Outback Steakhouse or the Indian restaurant just above Tony Roma's. That or the overpriced film museum posing as a cinema.

Anyone think that the (gorgeous) music from the trailer is akin to that founded on the popular spinster's tear-fest, "Grey's Anatomy"?

I could just imagine Dr Grey narrating over the slow-mo like she does at the beginning if each ep. This would also be an ironic wink at the name of the show itself, considering the content if the game (trailer).

I never really bought into the whole "Guitar Rock Brand" (sic) thing. Kudos to whoever convinced the itunes/torrent generation to pay almost double what itunes charges for a song just to be able to party glorified air-guitar or sing not-quite karaoke until their heart's content, but for me I couldn't see the point. I also haven't got the room in my tiny flat for all the garish overpriced fisher-price toys masquerading as "peripherals" either.

However, I DO like music games. Anyone remember "Beats" on the psp? Something like that would make me "come back" to the music genre, with the ability to use either dlc or your own tunes, loads of nice graphic equalizer backgrounds, etc.

Heck, you could also just use it as an alternative (music) media player, if the function was coded.

That and story based games with original soundtracks, like Parrapa or Lammy...

You know, when a dev puts effort into re-releasing a game with fancier graphics or other such tweaks, then fair play, but if this is just another lazy port them I'll happily step back and let the pirate-carrion descend from their clifftop torrent domains...

How big is the monitor? Btw, for those with a PS3 already, perhaps (if there is a cheap battery solution) this would be a "cheaper" alternative to the psp2?

Flame me silly, but how are they and the "official playstation community" going to be able to communicate together? PS Home? Private messages? Live cam chat?

Please tell me I won't have to use my P ( o ) S browser to go to a website just to see my ps3 freeze..

with youtube and other music services vids the browser, internal and external harddrives with mp3 playback and media servers offering media content via wireless, I'd say that this, like many Sony software solutions, is about as much use as Ann-Franke's drumkit.

And people wonder why people want to mod their systems and/or want more official third-party apps...

Hi folks, I'm a new user here. Love the reviews and news. This thread brought me out of my lurker closet to share news that youtube CAN be great on ps3. I'm not sure if links are ok, so I'll just say that google "ps3youtube" and you will find the best user experience ever.

The site can stream from youtube and a number of vids sites up to 720p and.download up to 1080p. ps3 users can also "friend" the dev using the ps3 network for help and to give ideas.

It's the best thing that happened to my ps3,.barring geo-hot.

(ps: why can't I post vids the mobile site? I've got an htc desire but the mobile site keeps telling me to log in?)
