Lexis Numerique explains Amy's PSN price disparity, poll to decide US price

@kentuckyfried

There shouldn't even be a poll. This is a non-issue that should have been fixed without a story. The fact that is hasn't been IS the story.

Lexis Numerique explains Amy's PSN price disparity, poll to decide US price

UGH, this is stupid and I don't even own a PS3. Why price it differently in the first place ? Are you telling me that developers and marketers in their cast wisdom couldn't understand basic exchange rates?

Or perhaps they're trying to get people to like them on Facebook in order to advertise to them?

I mean really, there should be ABSOLUTELY no other post in here other than this is completely bereft of treating their customers properly.

And this ISN'T an xbox vs ps3 argument. It should be uniform for all consumers regardless of where they've been publicizing.

New Xbox Live terms of service prevent class action lawsuits against Microsoft [update: opting out not allowed]

@carbonize

As others have said, The McDonalds hot coffee lawsuit was far from spurious. Generally, when talking about important things like the law, one should have their facts straight.

Initially, she didn't want ANY money over what would cover her bills, and to also put labels on the coffee cups. As well, McDonalds did not want to reimburse her. The ONLY recourse in our country is to sue, and the recompense provided is monetary.

Totally agree, I wish they'd release it on xbox live if it hasn't been already. I'd def play it again. And the game has EVERYONE except Sarah in the cast. But the funny thing is, the voice actress was better than Gellar would be. The exaggerated inflections really sold the performance. Easily one of, if not the best voice acting jobs and impressions I've ever heard.

I've seen every ep of the show MULTIPLE times, and even KNOWING that it wasn't Gellar, 4 hours in I had to check the internet. And I'm one of those guys who always picks out actors' voices in commercials (even obscure one)

As for the game, I was impressed by how much it felt like a buffy episode. I will say that I didn't get into the sequel, tho I can't remember why. I loved how the original used the fish creatures from "Go Fish."

Anyway, as evident, I can geek out on some Buffy, but this game was actually really good. It reminded me of a better Alice, and I can see it as a precursor, though very early one, to Arkham Asylum. I'll stop before I geek out on Batman

Rumor: Developers claim to be uncredited for LA Noire work

@A Sandwich

Not at all, it's just an average game with interesting tech. It's not bad by any stretch, although I think it has some boring, repetitive components. It does one interesting thing with the tech, which doesn't remain interesting throughout the entire game, while every other mechanic is pedestrian. Boring shooting, chases, driving, and collectibles.

Yet more than half the reviews on metacritic are 90 or above...nothing against Rockstar personally, but their games always seem to be weighted heavily in reviews. RDR was pretty wholly excellent though.

Then again, you probably weren't looking for a well-reasoned response.

Rumor: Developers claim to be uncredited for LA Noire work

"T.K. Rose, an alias of one such member (why hide your name?) of the group looking for recognition, told Destructoid that unless individuals were involved during "the final month or two of production" were left out of the game's credits, affecting about 100 individuals who apparently worked on the game."

That's one of the most poorly constructed sentences I've ever read, and there's only FIVE in the entire post. Joystiq has been really sloppy of late.

Also, the judgement in parentheses is mighty obnoxious as well. But seeing as how much this site has had their collective tongues up Rockstar and Team Bondis' asses (read: the game isn't that great), I guess it's no surprise.

Not sure if Bush played the original, but I know in the original, I played with a lot of bush. :P
