It looks a little like it, but Audiosurf is more of a puzzle game with music. RB: Blitz is a rhythm game. Because it uses the RB songs, it knows where all the beats are for each instrument, and can isolate the tracks/sounds. We don't know how many modes there are in this yet.

It's too bad they're not letting you export RB3 yet -- I was hoping this game would get people to buy RB3 just for the song export, and then since they already had it, maybe they'd buy some used instruments and play it.

Each "highway" has only two lanes, so that won't be necessary (for good or for bad). The 360 bumpers are very responsive, and clicky; better for this than a PS3 controller, IMO.

I had both Freq/Amp, but I'm all about instruments now. I'll play this for achievements for sure, but I doubt I'd take this over RB3 drums. Instant-buy, in any case. Hope it brings new players to RB3.

Yeah, you'd think *someone* would have taught even the basics to them. It's especially funny considering this is a *school*!

So this game is actually scoring all of those players? I figured those were dummy mats, but a previous post said it can track 48 mats. I wish this existed when I was in school. :(

Also, can I get one of those mats for the 360? Please?

Yeah, really bad wording. I think they mean you can pay nothing if you want, but if you want to pay *something* there is a minimum because of processing fees.

No Steam = no thanks. I already have Frozen Synapse, and don't really care about the others.

There's nothing weird or difficult about a texture map that small (it's actually 1.6K, not 123K). The textures are just pixels, so there's no need for it to be any bigger, and it takes two seconds to scale that up to any size you need with no loss of data (turn off resampling or it'll be blurry).

Cool wooden figures, though.
