Ah yes, the whole NeoGAF incident. Yes, that is me.

It would have been embarrassing if it was true. If you read through to the end of that whole thread, it was revealed that the founder of NeoGAF actually got it wrong... I never worked on Borderlands.

I eventually documented all of it, which is a pretty fascinating look at how quickly wild accusations can spread on the net (IGN and some other big gaming sites ended up doing stories on it) before the truth catches up.

Truth be told, at least this was how I felt back then, I was more miffed that I never got my NeoGAF account back since I was banned. NeoGAF (Tyler) never bother to apologize, or reply to my emails to share his side of the story, or let people clarify the error made (he ended up locking the thread.)
