Ive been purchasing my PC games online in digital form recently, not only to avoid the annoying game employees, but to also find games that I cant find in stores. (Beyond Good and Evil)
I still head to the store if Im buying a single console or portable game, but if I plan on buying a bunch of them Ive recently begun purchasing 2-4 games at a time and have them delivered directly to me. No lines, no fuss.
Guys its not so bad. The PC is not only for gaming. I do a bunch of home movies and a new PC will certainly improve performance. Im willing to buy a new PC and DX10 card when Vista is out to play this, but I am NOT willing to buy a $699(CDN) PS3.
For me its PC + Wii and possibly a 360 or PS3 in 2-3 years.
Didnt Iwata at E3 say that the network code would be included in hardware and games could ship single player and recieve the multiplayer addition in a relatively small update later?
Well I think the Ep2 package at $40 is fair. You got a full fledged game of TF2 and also Ep2. Portal seems like an interesting tech demo and I consider it as simply a bonus. I think Ill grow tired of it very quickly. Reminds me somewhat of that gun in Unreal that I am currently forgetting the name of.
Booooo! 1 episode every 8 months? To be a truly episodic game I think there should be releases every month (2 months at the most and I dont think theyll ever get episodic games to come weekly like TV)
Additionally,Ep1 was so short. It was good but was a bit underwhelming especially considering I paid 19.99 HL2.
HL2 @ $20 = super extreme bang for your buck. Ep1 @ $20? Not so much bang.
And is Half Life 3 even in development? Or do they start that after the 3 episodes are finished?
