Apr 4th 2012 12:53PM (Joystiq)I just can't leave this alone...
There is nothing wrong with this.

The only one's that are kind of out there are Fang and Vanille. But that's only because they are supposed to have a "tribal" look. What about Ezio from Assassin's Creed? "Omg, he's so kool, lots of extra... cloth flaps." He's an assassin, you'd think they would get in the way. No one picks on his character design. I get that it's supposed to be Renaissance. But surely they had simpler clothes than that. I just feel people have some unnecessary bias towards Tetsuya Nomura and Japanese design in general. Personally, I think they're pretty badass. (By the way, I have nothing against Ezio's design. I'm just trying to make a point)

The Final Fantasy wears Prada
Apr 4th 2012 11:34AM (Joystiq)What are you talking about? The character designs in Final Fantasy XIII are fantastic. If they did anything right, it's that. It's a video game. A video game about monsters and magic. Casual wear like this doesn't exactly fit in that world. Besides, I thought the clothes were rather simple compared to say... Kingdom Hearts.
The Final Fantasy wears Prada
Apr 4th 2012 11:26AM (Joystiq)Because video game characters wearing Prada is the epitome of evolution and change. It's not evolution for Final Fantasy, and it's not evolution for fashion. It's just a marketing stunt. And it's an insult to both sides'.
Then again, I just don't like Prada. Never been a fan of Italian fashion.

MLB 12: The Show (PS3, PS Vita) review: Ahead in the count
Mar 29th 2012 5:53PM (Joystiq)From what I have noticed, Vita's load times are slow for just about every game. Whether it's from the graphics or not, it's a pretty annoying inconvenience.
