Even though not all of what I wrote applies to this particular game I would like to say that this type of DLC model (selling stuff that you could unlock in-game) is also another thing I'm against. And the whole "you're not forced to buy it" is valid up to a point, but when a gaming developer puts out stuff in what seems to be pure greed I won't be buying the game itself either. I'd rather pirate it if possible or just ignore the game and put the publisher on my "avoid list".
I agree with those complaining about the Microsoft marketplace spamming. It's already filled with new "songs" for certain games that I don't care about. On another note I'm starting to avoid games that do stuff like this. DLC and free-to-play have not been kind to gamers so far and I intend to avoid games that use this model even though it sometimes pains me because it's a game I would've liked to play. Whatever happened to just releasing a game and then if it sold well you'd create an expansion for it? Nowadays you buy a game and then you pay the same amount for DLC that's about 20% of the original game. I've been trying to avoid piracy but in some cases I find it semi-justifiable.
@Soldier Sorry, but you sound like you work for the company or you're just making shit up. Equal to 5 servers? Also, Eve is a completely different beast that runs server clusters with alot less need of data being transferred at a time compared to usual mmo's.
Also Eve's subscriptions have mostly been going up since launch while Warhammer's has been going down. It's just way to similar to other games to have it's user-base stick.
Great IPA, love Warhammer (40K more though) but this game is about to die, as it should.
Graveyard doesn't really seem like a good fit imo compared to the other ones (and let's face it, we have enough zombies on our hands). Pirates fits since there's already a certain pirate element to the game. Candy on the other hand would probably be the smartest way to go. It's a kid friendly game (parents and kids can play it together for instance) and candy is colourful and fun. Just look at the overly underrated Viva Pinata.
Dungeon Defenders, Swotor, Skyrim, Space Marince Co-Op mode, NFS the Run. Call of Duty, Burnout Paradise, some Assassinc Creed: Brotherhood and Arkham City. But mostly the new Lego Harry Potter since my daughter is getting that for christmas.
