Players are banned from xbox live on a regular basis. And I suspect most players agree with MS banning them. I would support Sony doing the same thing.
I support Sony protecting their products, the companies who spend millions making the games, and the thousands of individuals who worked on them.
And Yes, I buy music downloads from the artists and iTunes because I know music is not free.
I do not wish to see the console market to be impacted by cheaters/hackers the way the music, PC and PSP gaming markets have.
George Hotz needs to understand that just because you can, doen't mean you should. BTW how long do consider his extended trip "spring break" and not evasion?

The now dated tech demo shows that the ps eye does track the body, head, and can tell the difference between different people.

I agree its not ground breaking. It just shows that they are choosing a different level of interactivity. For me, a game like Children of Eden could be a good test of an motion gaming.

Every web cam I have purchased in the last 5 years has had face detection if not facial feature detection. For an install base, heck it took Nintendo only 6 hours today to install 400K 3D cameras with AR software into homes.
My point was that the video really appeared to show MS strapping kinnect hardware, into existing development concepts. nothing appeared to be "only now" capable because of kinnect. And come on, who didn't think toy periscope when he showed the light slab.
