I understand what he's trying to say...software with a narrative is designed to be completed by the user. It would be very easy to make a game that was impossible to beat. "Beating" software makes it sound like some sort of achievemnt, when in reality you've just followed a path thats been laid out for you. So it is kind of silly to say you "beat" a game.

Anyway, I don't think he hates america or is an idiot or a nut. Perhaps just unfortunately nit-picky in the wrong setting.

Very excited, waited in line, etc. Then veryy, very disappointed. Wii Sports is fun for about 2 seconds, then turns very boring and shows the extreme reliance of this system on the contoller. I mean, in the baseball game there's no fielding, just pitching and hitting. Felt like a snes title at BEST. Zelda is slow and very poor at informing the plyare at what they should be doing in the intro, so you kind of have to hack thropugh the first 2 hours at a snails pace. I've waited for almost a year and now all I can think of is finishing Zelda and selling it. A sad day.
