I'm positively surprised about designs You've picked for the finals, but I must notice, that they aren't a T-shirt designs but "only" nice graphic that possibly could be place on T-shirts and look good or not good enough. Well, we'll see... Ok, it's time to whine about those graphic (sorry for my English):
#1 Very good idea, with so many details, that You can't see it at first. The print on T-shirt in that case should be bigger and well made or all you'll see is the large orange stain. And if it should be large, tell the simplicity "bye bye". Background should be white and that is no good - I think Joystiq looks better on the black.
#2 Good idea but not for T-shirt (unless You'll make it smaller). Beside that, I don't like the fact, that "Joystiq" is right to "pad" - there is no logic here. I wonder how it would looks without those controllers... maybe better? And I feel that T-shirt design is no finished (the way that controllers look are the same, but not "sharp" and joystiq's logos are different). To put it simple: good idea, poor workout.
#3 Good idea with good designers skills which make it alive. It will look good on black and white background. The colors are good, the size on T-shirt should be large, so "bye bye" simplicity... I would still prefer #1 but that one is nice too, because like #1 catch the eye and makes someone whose watching on it to match the pieces or search the details, it makes you think - that is good.
#4 The logo itself is nice, but I can't tell if it looks good on T-shirt because I don't know where on T-shirt it will be or how big. It should looks good on black or white, I probably would put it on a sleeve or heart. I still prefer #1 but it nice, elegant and simple (the key for many non fans buy it and wear it).
#5 Well, it makes you decode all symbols, so it catches the eye - that's good. It will looks better on white (grey symbols and I would change the color of exclamation mark to orange) than black, it's simple and elegant. The symbols have different style than your logo, but I can't tell if it's good or bad.
#6 Seriously? I can't tell much good of it. The graphic is superb!, that's true, but that oval is no good. I think it will looks good only on black (so it's not elastic) and on the middle of t-shirt (back/front/both - whatever). Besides... why that sword has not orange finishes only some green/blue-nish!? To put it simple: I like it, but not on t-shirt.
I like spin-off's like Worms Blast or Final Fantasy Crystal Defenders, but I'm afraid I would rather focus on sound and key combinations than simple, nice graphic - and that is bad. :|
@Stormypoo Well, you've got some point. I have expected awesome designs (#36 for example - great work!) but I keep in mind: [We want something everyone will be able to enjoy, and something you'd be willing to wear in public. And by "you," we mean "your cooler cousin from the big city."] and my younger brother said he wouldn't wear it. ;D ...I would. :)
