Ebay is a big one, as I'm a fan of the retro scene, but when it comes to modern stuff, I generally patronize a local gaming shop not connected to the big chains.

If anything, it's just the opposite. PR firms operate on credibility, and Perpetual blowing them off hurt their credibility - tanamount to saying, "You are a crappy PR firm."

If they didn't file suit, it would shout to the rest of the PR industry that their ethics may be in question, and lose other clients. It will also remind any clients in the PR field not to breach contract, because if you piss off PR or the Media, they will tank you in the court of public opinion.

Ign has too many ads - Joystiq and it's daughter sites have a much better streamlined system, and Xbox360fanboy is the best site for Xbox news. Continue the good work, gentlemen.

I'm a theologian, and I can honestly say that Jack is nuts. He does not represent Academic Theology in any shape or form. In fact, I doubt he represents Christianity at all.
We're just fortunate this braincase is doing this, because if it was someone more charismatic, we might be in trouble.

I skipped.
I've wanted one since November, as many have, but due to a bit of bad luck, I haven't managed to score one.
However, I'm not one to stand out in heavy snow and freezing weather just for one, so I didn't go out this morning.

At this rate, I'm just going to wait until March or later when these things can be on the shelf for more than two mirco-seconds without being sold. Besides, Miamoto promised at the launch that other colors for the Wii and controllers would debut sometime this spring. Here's hoping for a red or a blue one!

I got up around 8:15, headed to a Best Buy and got there by 8:50. At that point, I waited in line for a half hour, only to be told, "No ticket, no console." Turns out they handed out the tickets THE NIGHT BEFORE.
I go over to Circuit City. Same thing. Tickets went out the night before.
Target had three unclaimed units, but I would have waited until noon to purchase one, and only then if the three units weren't sold to their ticket holders.
Went home disgusted, only to have a co-worker flaunt his console the next day.

Yeah. Really great shopping experience.
