CryEngine 3 GDC tech demo is all kinds of futuristic
Mar 8th 2011 12:26AM (Joystiq)Crysis 2 runs on CryEngine 3, so this video is very relevant (FYI Crysis 1 ran on CryEngine 2, and Far Cry used CryEngine 1). Console support is one of the biggest feature additions of CE3.
Exactly which features will be enabled on consoles is a separate issue, since they obviously have to tune for best performance/quality trade off, but have no doubt that this is the same engine.
