This is an incredibly fun game...one of my favorites of all time, actually. Every Wii owner should have it on their Christmas list.

Why is it that I am extremely excited to play Nintendo games all the way back to the NES era, but the thought of playing PS1 games doesn't excite me? I'd say the N64 had something of lasting value over the PS1. However, I am just as unenthusiastic about playing Gamecube games as I am about playing PS1 games.

Whitster: I was the king of British Bulldog, and Red Rover for that matter. Great games. I remember them getting banned, along with everything else remotely fun at recess in my elementary school in Ontario, Canada. It all started with these ropes high in the trees...a kid fell out of them and died, so they took them down. That, of course was justified. However, next, they cut down our forest because we were all building forts and having snowball wars. Then they took out the thether ball because kids were getting hurt...

QUESTION:
Why are stores getting so few Wiis. Didn't I read that there are already at least 2 million Wiis made? With only 400k PS3's, why are stores claiming to be receiving about the same number of each?

Here in Canada, preorders open for both the PS3 and Wii on Monday. Should be an interesting morning with both camps waiting in line together. EB Games will only let you preorder one of the two systems.

I love "Powers of Ten" -- A great short. All the rest of the Eames videos are worth checking out if you enjoyed this. I own the box set.

I don't know about that. Some games, like Red Steel and Rayman look great, but others look sub par, and even terrible...like that cell shaded car game. I'd much rather they focus on making fewer games that much better than releasing as many games as possible for the Wii launch. I'd take one more game designed for the Wii ground up than the other seven -- or whatever -- last gen games they are updating with new controls. There will be some amazing games in the launch period -- enough that nobody will need to buy the lower end stuff they are pushing out.

I fully intend to walk into a store at launch and pick up a Wii with the games I want -- no bundles. There will be plenty of Wii to go around, it seems.
