@JakeAuditore Don't get me wrong, I expect to see the occasional brightly-coloured destructive phallus here and there, I just wasn't really expecting to see it this early on a Sunday. I haven't even had my cup of tea yet.

What's with the green laser dong on the first picture?

Could someone give me a thumbs up/thumbs down on this game? I missed it the first time around and I've heard mixed reviews. I like the sound of it though - say it's good and I'll buy it in a heartbeat.

So, I just got back from work to find I've not only lost my collector's edition pre-order, but now there are no copies left anywhere to replace it.

I don't know... I feel the wind's just left my sails on this game. I don't know why it bothers me so much to not get the collector's edition, but it does.

It's an outstanding game, but I do remember a few tedious bits in the original. It might be a minor qualm, but not being able to save squad loadouts was a pain and stopped me from bothering with a lot of encounters in the late game.

Also, I wish they had toned down the psionics in that game. I hated that I had to instigate a eugenics programme for the sake of soldiers with meringue-like mental fortitude. I also hated that you could win the last misson in one turn by hosting an alien relay race.

Is the only way to up the difficulty on Horde mode to host a private match? I really want to try Hardcore, but I don't have an Xbox posse. I was hoping they'd roll out some more options.

Wait, why is Slaughterhouse Five considered violent? It's nothing like that - I found it a deeply moving and human experience. Kids SHOULD be reading Vonnegut.
