I've seen extended gameplay that just looked really bland.
First off, when the character is climbing on a beast, he/she looks more like an ant covered in honey trying to find its way around a dog's hair.
Something about the combat seems off. Just watch the characters swipe at enemies and you might see what I mean. The interactions just aren't satisfying.
Watch something that isn't a trailer and you'll see this game in a different light.
First they put it on DSi, to be hidden away. Now they're putting it on iOS with inferior controls. Whose decision was it to not put it on PSN/Xbox Live?
I always thought it was insane that Daisuke Amaya wasn't making games for a living. It's a great injustice that it took this long for him to become a full-time developer, but it would have been much worse if he never made it. Just what in the hell do you have to do in this world to get a phone call from publishers/developers?
