Man, Nintendo is getting rid of half their force, it seems. No forums, no magazine, some people not moving to wherever they decided to move. Next we'll probably hear the Nintendo World Store being shut down.

Also, Nintendo Power magazine used to suck, but was pretty cool the last year or so. It sucks that the redesign was all for naught.

While I don't agree with the idea that games are not art, I am so burnt out on this issue that it's lost all meaning to me. It's tiresome to defend the medium at this point. Some games are art, some games are not, and most of them are fun. End. Of. Story.

Considering Rogue Leader, a launch game for the GC back in 2001, looks better than most Wii games backs up Factor 5's stance on the Wii's graphical hardware. Jeez, there are some graphical examples in Rebel Strike that look truly amazing, stuff I would expect to see on 360.

Duct-tape be damned, the Wii's got more than enough power.

Dude, the last section of the demo was a pain in the ass. How many times did you die, only to see the same guy that killed you right in your face again? Yeah great, I get to do it another way, but this time with less ammo and less plasmids. Not fun at all.

I'm excited for Bioshock to see what's up with that Atlas dude. Something tells me he ain't right in the head...

The Prime series comes after the first Metroid, but before Return of Samus and Super Metroid. So theoretically, it could be Mother Brain, as she returns in Super Metroid. I would say it's just going to reveal the origins of Mother Brain in a quick reference. Maybe we see another one, like Father Brain or something....

I listen to game music all the time as well. Has NPR never listened to the amazing works of Nobuo Uematsu, Yasunori Mitsuda, Motoi Sakuraba, Yuzo Koshiro, Martin O'Donnel, and others?

Like sheppy says, once they resemble an actual game, one withe rules, sex games might actually be more successful in the industry. If they don't give the game any sort of structure or progression, the game will stay with those people that don't want to "overcome" a sexual relationship, making the sex genre an extremely niche one. So yeah, I understand what the author was trying to say.

Isn't this a bit fast to say they are against each other? You make it sound like they're enemies, when I'm sure they both like each other's ideas and formulas.
