@Ospov No, but you would at least watch every game your team was in if they were out of market. I watch football all day on Sunday. 1:30 on Fox or CBS. Then the 4:30 game on Fox usually. Finally, the 8:30 night game on NBC! If they cut it in Hal, I would so be there with my wallet out!!

$340 is outrageous until you realize that it's EXACTLY what the people who have DirectTV are paying. The free NFL Sunday Ticket comes with a 2 year contract. The cheapest plan with no pay channels with HD is $35. The first year of the contract is offered at the discounted price of $30,,, Whoa, $5 dollar savings!,, the free pay channels are gone after 3 months. Your stuck paying a minimum of $360 year 1, and $420 year 2. $780 DirctTV with "free" NFL Sunday Ticket, or $680 for 2 years on the PS3?!? Nice $100 savings. All that said, it was worth it at $150 when I had it years ago. I will more than likely pass on it. Nice offer if you have the scratch though.

OnLive gets Disney Interactive support, universal controller, heading to UK this fall

@radioactivez0r you are guaranteed that any game you purchase will be available for 3 years. I usually beat a game and get all the trophies and then trade it in for the next version. I admit I dont do it with all of them, but I do it with the majority, and I think most people do that too. N3 years should be enough for you to beat a game and move on. Lol

@dragunrising I have the micro console, and I haven't ogives any lag. Just make sure that your tv isn't too big for your connection, there is a mb per inch requirement for the service to work without lag. I have a 32" LCD, so I need at least 4mbs for it to work right. If you have 50" then you need almost 6mbs for it to slag free. Hope that helps.

I am someone who uses Onlive on both the micro console and on a Acer Aspire One netbook! We're talking playing red faction and just cause 2 on a system that is barely decent enough to handle zynga games on Facebook! It does help that I have Verizon Fios at home though. The micro console with my Internet connection works great on my 32" flat screen. If you have lag, then its because of your connection. I've never experienced it personally.

All of my gaming isn't done on Onlive, but its nice when I'm away from my PS3 at home. The service will take sometime to be competitive with consoles, if it ever gets that far but until then, I will continue to enjoy it. Nthe play pass letsyouplay 40-50 games for $10 a month. I don't use it though. I bought a full pass for Homefront for $50 and got a FREE micro console and a free full pass to Metro 2033. They have free game system offers going on now for Deus Ex, Duke Nukem, Red Faction...full pass and free game system of free other game with purchase. For Dues Ex, you get the first game and the micro system with full pass purchase. How horrible is that? Most games will be bought on my PS3, but I'll keep scoping out the deals on Onlive. FYI, weekly deals where you can get games for $5-$10 bucks! Other consoles don't do that.

As for the controller, it's like the Onlive controller is the baby of the ps3 and xbox controller. It just feels great, even though it's a bit chunky.

Sony to offer PSN users free identity theft protection for one year

May 6th 2011 9:06AM (Joystiq)
Free downloads and Qrocity and PSN+ for a month. Free identity theft monitoring for a year. All of this must be a plot by the Evil Sony! Is there anything they can do to make people happy at this point? They didn't do enough to keep us safe (true). They aren't giving us enough to make up for it (huh?). It's taking forever to get the network up and running and I can't stop whining about playing MP because people forgot that single player or co-op works just fine (true true). I want all the updates, demos, MP gameplay as the next person but I can be patient. If you can't manage that, ditch your PS3, get an XBOX or Wii, and stop your bitching!

Sony responds to Congress with open letter, suggests 'Anonymous' was responsible

That said, the network needs to be back on. Keep the store down until you fix things, whatever. Just please enable online play at least.

Sony responds to Congress with open letter, suggests 'Anonymous' was responsible

When are people going to put the blame with the hackers, and not Sony? Half of the posts are acting like Sony had it coming because they dared to seek action against the person who "jail broke" the PS3 and forced him to release the ip addresses of the people who downloaded the program. Because of this, other hackers decided to defend "one of their own". By punishing the Evil Sony!!

I'm not against the jailbreak if it were to increase PS3 functionality, but it wasn't done for that. It was used to steal games. At least when Saurik jail broke the iPhone it was done to give it better functionality then the iPhone had originally. When he did it, he wasn't looking to get free apps from Apple. And, since he wasn't stealing revenue from Apple, they didn't prosecute him. They just release updates every month or so trying to shore up the holes. Saurik or other Apple iOS hackers didn't decide to hack all of Apple's accounts and compromise the accounts of millions of users!

This is just normal hacker BS! They need to all be prosecuted and have to work for the rest of their lives giving restitution to all the parties they hurt. And if Sony loses revenue and is forced to layoff workers, they need to pay them as well. There are actual workers at stake here, not just billionaire CEO's! Nothing will happen to the CEO's they will keep their jobs, or else skate out with their olden parachute! Ask communities where SCEA and SC(insert region) are located how their local economies will be effected if Sony has to lay people off!!
