The service will take sometime to be competitive with consoles, if it ever gets that far but until then, I will continue to enjoy it. Nthe play pass letsyouplay 40-50 games for $10 a month. I don't use it though. I bought a full pass for Homefront for $50 and got a FREE micro console and a free full pass to Metro 2033. They have free game system offers going on now for Deus Ex, Duke Nukem, Red Faction...full pass and free game system of free other game with purchase. For Dues Ex, you get the first game and the micro system with full pass purchase. How horrible is that? Most games will be bought on my PS3, but I'll keep scoping out the deals on Onlive. FYI, weekly deals where you can get games for $5-$10 bucks! Other consoles don't do that.
As for the controller, it's like the Onlive controller is the baby of the ps3 and xbox controller. It just feels great, even though it's a bit chunky.

May 4th 2011 11:02PM (Joystiq)I'm not against the jailbreak if it were to increase PS3 functionality, but it wasn't done for that. It was used to steal games. At least when Saurik jail broke the iPhone it was done to give it better functionality then the iPhone had originally. When he did it, he wasn't looking to get free apps from Apple. And, since he wasn't stealing revenue from Apple, they didn't prosecute him. They just release updates every month or so trying to shore up the holes. Saurik or other Apple iOS hackers didn't decide to hack all of Apple's accounts and compromise the accounts of millions of users!
This is just normal hacker BS! They need to all be prosecuted and have to work for the rest of their lives giving restitution to all the parties they hurt. And if Sony loses revenue and is forced to layoff workers, they need to pay them as well. There are actual workers at stake here, not just billionaire CEO's! Nothing will happen to the CEO's they will keep their jobs, or else skate out with their olden parachute! Ask communities where SCEA and SC(insert region) are located how their local economies will be effected if Sony has to lay people off!!
