@KiraXD You should instead yell "Fire in the hole!" or "Frag out!" for the benefit of the dead UNSC marines scattered around you. That would add something. Something creepy, but at least you would be a different kind of crazy. Or just yell when no one is around. Turn Halo into a Garfield without Garfield kind of experience.
@gordogg24p None of the systems support infrastructure for time based codes. Microsoft and Sony (and others) would have to spend a massive amount of time and money creating a system that would support that. So, no, it's not that rental companies just need to get on the phone. They (and their customers) are being treated like dirt.
@FuzzyPierce I like FFX-2. I didn't realize how widespread the internet disliked it until years later. There was something fun and light-hearted about X-2 that was a nice change of pace from other FFs. One of my friends refused to play it because of the dress spheres and the slang, but I thought that was his loss for not giving it a chance.
@ShadowXIII XBLA has weird rules. When you download a game, the first console you download it to can always play the game (online or off). The gamertag associated with the game can always play the game, too, but if you're not on the box that downloaded the game, you have to be logged in. It sucks. I think MS was doing something to fix that, but I haven't kept up with it.
@rabish12 Letting EA control its content means no DLC sales. How often has DLC for BioWare games gone on sale through EA's sites? Last I checked ... basically never. Hopefully Valve, D2D, whoever, stick to their guns and force EA to release DLC in a way the promotes competition and benefits customers.
They removed $50 worth of coupons, and then admitted they made a mistake and compensated people. They should also return the original coupon to people who bought the game, as well as provide the GameStop gift card. Going forward, it's fine to make it clear that they're substituting $50 worth of GameStop coupons for the OnLive coupon.
@katssun Does Bethesda actually have "Scrolls" trademarked? "Elder Scrolls" makes me think of their games, but scrolls sound like slang for sidescrollers. Even though it's not authoritative, Wikipedia disambiguation doesn't redirect Scrolls to Elder Scrolls. If this trademark is so well known (by uh, anyone) maybe they should have let people know by marketing it years ago. As a gamer, I don't associate scrolls with Bethesda. I'll be hard pressed to associate it with the Scrolls card game, as the name is pretty generic. Both parties should admit that scrolls is too vague and use better names.
If you work on those games, it must make you sad to realize that man-boys get to speak for your hard work. Imagine how nice it would be to have someone professional represent you to the outside world.
Oh, you used Quen to get through the dragon's fire. I figured out how to roll more or less through it, but that would have been a lot easier. I agree the prologue is surprisingly difficult, as it requires the player to use abilities they don't fully understand yet. It's not the usual tutorial people expect from the intro level.
