@(Unverified) This exactly. I'd rather be on the wrong side of an unjust legal movement than be a fat, mithering armchair jockey whining when the freedoms they didn't bother to fight for are taken away.
It's not the about attacking criminals, there's no justification there. The bill is about piracy, so no, people taking the law into their own hands has no bearing on it.
Congress isn't an angry parent, Anonymous has no bearing on any of the proceedings, it won't even be taken into account.
@ScottishViking Most of the ones who whine about bethesda weren't old enough to play the original games, really. I've loved every game in the franchise so far, and I honestly think the people complaining are malcontents who're always looking for things to complain about, or are elitist children trying to be edgier than their friends.
"I played fallout before it was cool/popular/ruined by bethesda."
@Gruntpole Whether they're good or bad, right or wrong, at least they're doing something, right? I mean what is anyone here really doing about SOPA? Crying and mithering on reddit or elsewhere?
I have to include myself in the above, I'm just posting to a blog, or writing forum posts, none of this of course will do much to inhibit SOPA.
I dunno. They're not attacking customers this time, Sony want to side with misguided internet fascism, They'd better be willing to take some flak for their affiliation.
I'm seriously thinking about quitting mmo's all together.
I dunno, I feel so jaded nowadays. No game really has everything I need. an engaging world and story, stimulating gameplay, a nice visual style, and a good community. Everything I try is missing one of the above.
SWTOR doesn't appeal to me at all, and it looks like all I'll see for a long time if I stick with mmos.
I'm also sick to the back teeth with Fantasy. Screw Orcs, Screw Elves, Screw castles and stupid little wooden houses.
I think I'm gonna pull out some of my old games consoles or something, Then I can enjoy gaming without having to constantly measure my fun levels against a subscription cost, or spend little niggling amounts all the time on sparkle ponies and other f2p tosh.
@remeran Speaking of DCUO, Can you tell me what I'm supposed to be doing at lvl 30? I've not managed to make many friends since I started, and I'm finding less and less reason to log on, feel like this is fault at my end.

Doesn't compute, Captain.
