This is just another example of vocal gamers rallying to a cause. I'm not saying it's a bad thing but IMHO a bank that practices unethical lending practices and endangers the livelihood of millions of people while their executives make millions of dollars denotes a much worse company than a company that made a video game where people don't like the ending.

I've seen a few people saying they plan to cancel their preorder in the Diablo 3 forums for various reasons. Everytime an update is released and a specific feature is pointed out as a change people freak and threaten to cancel a preorder based on this one feature. If they are serious and not making just empty, rash threats then they need to look at the game as a whole instead of focusing on this one feature IMHO.

I've never cancelled a preorder. Mostly because I feel like I wait until I know there is no reason I won't buy the game.

I'm in the beta and IMHO you'll be able to follow the main story of D3 just fine you'll just miss a lot of the backstory with some of the characters/places etc.

Screen 2 looks like it's straight out of "The Patriot" just replace the assassin with Mel Gibson.

@PN04 Trying to alter the Ninja Gaiden reputation makes more sense. I remember Hayashi saying they were toning down the violence of the Ninja Gaiden games. I just never associated DoA with excessive violence - excessive cleavage yes...

The toning down of the sex appeal and trying to make the characters' stories deeper is fine but how do they plan to tone down the violence? There's not a ton of blood or anything like in MK. Don't take the fight out of the fighting game Team Ninja...
