Skylanders is apparently great, though I guess if you still care about Spyro after what;s been done to him since Insomniac dropped him then I suppose I can see why you'd feel hurt. You don't even have to play as him - Skylanders should have been launched without Spyro tagged on imo.

The best part is that Double Fine got the publishing rights back from Majesco a while back (over a year, I think). That means the money from sales that would have been split between publisher and dev now goes straight to Double Fine.

Might have to buy this again on PC to support Tim & Co!

It's hilarious how many people think this is an MMORPG. There isn't even any online in the game! That's how cheap it looks - people assume the terrible animation and character models mean it's a big open online world with hundreds of NPCs and places to play.

It's based on the books, not the show. Although your implication that it exists thanks to the show is probably fairly accurate, though screens etc were shown long before the show premiered.
