There was closure to the war. There were reports coming in over the radio that resistance fighters were winning shoot outs with much less difficulty since the hive mind was destroyed. (i.e. one battle saw 100 Cimeran deaths vs 7 human deaths)

I'll wait for the inevitable rererelease.

Even if the game bombs, Rebellion probably gets paid BIG nonetheless.

Besides I used to be in the military, and I used to see that game (like 6 months ago) still at 59.99 when the game was out forever it seemed. You can easily part a young military member with their money, especially when you have any spec ops guy on the cover. I like to call it the CoD effect.

So basically, easy targets (kids) spend money on garbage. (Rebellion)

And with that, the casual fan has changed the landscape forever...again.

Unless a developer specifically mentions that there will be no DLC, such as with Dark Souls.

But yes it's a sad truth.

This is why I never bought MvC 3. And I don't regret it. I'll only buy it like 2 years after this new release to ensure they won't be taking advantage of me like they have of the SSIV crowd. If that's what it takes.

This is going to be so amazing.

Look, I have a PS3 and recently got a Wii and rarely ever play the Wii, I usually play my DS more. I have three out of five systems and it doesn't look like I'll gamble on any more in the near future.

What I'm getting at is I love mac payne and am very interested in Alan Wake and have been since launch, same thing with Conviction but theres no poibtin buying an Xbox if there are only two games that I want that are exclusives. Since Mass Effect 2 and Valve games are now multi platform, there's less of a reason to take the leap. Alan Wake looks amazing, but it doesn't look like $300 worth of amazing.

You had a buyer in me based on their previous work but they went exclusive for some cash, which was smaller in the long run and it hurt them. Even Max Payne didn't sell Xbox 1 for me, it was Halo, but buying Halo as a product made me realize that that's not a good reason to buy another piece of hardware.

Maybe I'm still bitter that I was left out, but how many people have one or two systems that are still interested or were interested? More than the number Xbox had that's for sure.
