It's true; the PS3 controller is not comfortable for FPS play. I've trudged through KZ2/3 and the Resistance games on it, and never am very happy with how it feels.

Sitting on the couch is nice for people who want to relax after working nonstop all week, has nothing to do with dumbed down anything; the only dumb thing on or around couches are people.

Anyways, I have my gaming laptop connected to my 50' TV, a xbox controller connected to it, so I sit on my couch and play Witcher 2 just like any other console game. It's awesome.
