The thrasher game was NOT a copy of the tony hawk game in the slightest. It's complicated controls were more akin to Skate than it ever was to tony hawk, and a favorite to many real skateboarders.

I loved the first one, but the second didn't have co-op so I returned it. Never played the third one.

I want to know what sense it makes to make a post launch tournament DLC patch. "OK, did you bring the game? OK. BUT WAIT DOES THIS CONSOLE HAVE THE PATCH? Yes, but only for my gamertag. "

Imagine setting up a tournament like that! It's so stupid sounding.

I remember Koston clowning on TH games once he appeared in Skate. He's got such a weird way of promoting himself through trash talk. At least it's funny.

That music sounds kinda farty to me. I felt that way about a lot of genesis sounds.

You know, I really loved the old tony hawk games. I play Skate 1 a lot when I can't go out skateboarding for whatever reason, it sort of fills that need a little bit. But the THPS series was just so damned fun. It's too bad they got away from the roots of the series. They didn't need to innovate new ways to do tricks, IMO, they just needed bigger levels with more to do. My fave was tony hawk's pro skater 2.

Xband was the best. It never ever lagged for me. Of course, users were connected directly to each other, but still. generations later, and lag has only gotten worse.

I loved the first one, but I probably won't get this one unless it has co-op. I was so bummed that the second one didn't have it.

I play this game a lot. I thought it was just okay when I played the beta, but it's changed a lot since then and I feel like it's way better. I don't like most Final Fantasy games, but I do like this one.
