@Bielzer To a greater extent I do think personal enjoyment is what's most important. However, I figured with this sequel, people wouldn't be likely to pull as many punches as most of the initial reviewers did, giving me a clearer outlook on how it plays. My question really isn't if I'll be buying the game, it's moreso "How Soon."

I also rather enjoyed XII. Here's hoping after this, some more Versus news will get out. That game has started rubbing me the wrong way with how much secrecy has veiled it over the years.

The game got a pretty good score from Famitsu. (Which is not surprising at all, they've some type of romance wih Square.) But I can't find any concrete reviews on the Japanese version. Is there perhaps a lack of interest in this game based on the original title? Being a huge FF fan. I really want to like this game. I enjoyed XIII for what it was, but that was with a very generous spirit. The game looks decent.

I just miss being "pleasantly surprised" Square Enix.

These were definitely a joy to look at. Definitely makes me want to play the first game again. I never did get around to playing the 3rd Birthday. ...Was that uh, any good?

Why even offer a two-day advantage to people? Are you really THAT impatient? I could understand a week or two. Oh well. I'll be playing it. Need to see how much time I'll be spending not playing MW3 for the next year. ~Xenitas

I actually took a knee and said I'd "TRY" to hop on the COD train this year.

...And then these trailers came out.
I liked BC2 a lot. DICE has my money on this one.

I guess I should have clarified. I only meant the quality of the CGI was reminiscent of Final Fantasy. But as far as the Drake/Laura monkey sex. Yes please.

In all seriousness though, I truly hope the gameplay is up to par. As far as I know, Square is only handling the CGI and publishing, correct?

You know, I was thinking the same thing. Lara Croft and Drake = Win. And Lots of it. Who'd the villain be though? Sephiroth? lol

Beautiful. It's Final Fantasy meets Uncharted. Who Knew? Guess Square - Enix wants some of Naughty Dog's pie.
