I completely understand the concern. My Husband has so much respect for the indie game developers and plans on making sure they approve of him producing the toys before the public is allowed to purchase them. I just didn't want anyone to get the idea that we are trying to steal their amazing work. They already don't get enough credit for all their hardwork!
@Drakkenfyre - Team Meat actively helped in approving the development of these toys. They have been told of what the creator has been doing every step of the way. As other series of models are released, all of the developers of those characters will also have been contacted prior to the models selling. (Voxelous is planning on making as many as he can, if not all of the playable characters in Super Meat Boy and Dr. Fetus. He also stated another character he was making but was not playable but I can't remember.)
@Mrblonde57 and @The Aquacharger - Yes Voxelous did run out of Meat Boy and Tofu Boy models rather quickly. In his defense this was like testing the water to make sure there was going to be a demand for the product. (Who wants to spend lots of money on something they can't sell?) Also, Tofu Boy was ordered in a very small quantity because he stands on a slight angle. The creator wanted to test out the toys ability to stand. There is no way to check if the models will stand as planned unless you order the prints and test for yourself. In the end it all worked out so I'm sure many more will be coming out in the next batch.
The next batch by the way should be in another 2-3 weeks. Unfortunately, it takes a while for the printing to be done but Voxelous will be much more prepared for the next round!
