Any word on whether or not you can replace the HDD? I don't really see a slot for it. The only place that seems like it might is on the front under the BD-ROM drive. Also, I read that the BD-ROM drive is 2x. Wasn't the original a 1x? Any way of confirming this?

Huh, not sure what I would do with it but it sounds interesting. I think I could have a lot of fun messing with this.

Oh man, this would save me so much money...

Any reason why you went with Intel instead of AMD for the budget build? From what I've been reading, the price to performance ratio is better on the Phenom II chips. Don't get me wrong, I love my Intel builds for my gaming rigs but for a media center PC, an Phenom II should be more than enough and save you a bit of money, maybe to get a better video card, more RAM or something along those lines.
