Apparently early reports are you will no longer be launching birds at the pigs to physically harm them. Instead you'll be talking them down from their towers nicely using a dialogue interface similar to Mass Effect.

@nevin1 I haven't bought a baseball game since MVP05'. I hope EA has been secretly designing a next gen baseball game for a couple years just waiting for this contract to expire and put the final touches on it.

All we can take away from this is that the exclusivity agreement for 2KSports and 3rd party developers ends this year.

Please let MVP come back in 2013.
