try HAWX2... ... I'm being serious...
it's trying TOO HARD to be Ace Combat that the first was a better game... so much that Assault Horizon reminds me of HAWX... which tried to be Ace Combat... kinda ironic isn't it...

and we call HAWX an AC clone... so basically... it's still AC when it comes around to it...

oh and it sounds a bit like you haven't played with Control Settings...
not sure if that's what you meant but "not having full control"...

try using "Classic" control setting for aircraft... attack helicopter was a bit hard to get used to, especially after having played the Activision's Apache game, where there was a Control Setting that was quite "realistic" and gave "full control" over the helicopter... and yes, a barrel roll was possible... although it was a LOT slower, and there was a BIG loss in altitude...

so yeah, try to go your control settings, and change it to "Classic" control scheme and then try again... (it's a bit like in HAWX, difference between Normal control where they "turn" for you, and Expert, where you have full control of roll and yaw and can invert flight)

if you meant "loss of controls" as in the DFM or AC-130, Blackhawk gunner parts, then I'm sorry... I have no fix for that...

just downloaded the update, I like the new intro much better!
and it features the new DLC cars and tracks!!!

@dioxholster they really need the character models/details/textures from Driver San Francisco... I was pleasantly surprised when I started up the game!

@Furyia I agree, I loved the single player
it's one of the most immersive FPS story I've played, you really FELT like you were part of the action, and actually being there on location during such a close-to-heart battle

especially the past week, all the talk about the assault on Bin-Laden's hideout, reminded me even more of the campaign...

only downside, it was EXTREMELY short >.< really wished it lasted longer... but it was great none the less, and I thoroughly enjoyed it... *which I can't say for Bad Company 2's single player ...*
