Apr 12th 2011 2:40PM (Joystiq)It's not that they fixed the issue. If you at any point managed to get your content authorized (Prior to Friday), then by chance loading the game while logged off MAY let you play the game.
Those who did a fresh install during this problem, or bought the game since Friday aren't as lucky.

Back to your post, unfortunately that "workaround" only allows you to Load the game, but if you had already DLC installed, it will cause problems, like disappearing items, or inability to get to certain areas, etc.

like to add that the game is not entirely playable offline perse. If
you had already added DLC to the Save Game file, then although there
are workarounds to get to load the game, you'll have issues accessing
the DLC items, or features."
