Well, one practical use if the headset is for Brain Age - though the bugs with the voice recognition game(s) are a bit annoying.

Another is Electroplankton's audio sampling "game".

Why did you buy a DS?

Haven't bought it yet, but Electroplankton would be my reason for buying it. Nothing like it for the competing systems, AFAIK.

I am also a musician (amateur) and my interest in the DS is due to Electroplankton as well. Tell me about PSP music-making software and I might be more interested in the PSP.
