The BEST part of all this is SOCOM 2 's server is still up and I'm on line shooting me some Bin Laden's!!
Sony, you still rule!!!!!
Get well soon.
For all the other gamers out there your PS2 on line games with still active servers are playable on line !!! :-)
Just got done playing some Flat Out 2 and now I'm playing some Socom 2 !!
Ya

PSN outage due to 'external intrusion' [update]

@BloodzAT

My downloaded PS3 games work just fine off line.
Well at least UNO, Hustle Kings , High Veloity Bowling , and Red Baron Arcade work just fine off line. Now I never cared about trophies and I don't know if these games have trophies and with the sysytem down I can't check that. But maybe it's OK for the games that don't use a trophy system.
And any of the PS2 games where it's server is still active (Socom 2,Flat Out 2) is still up and running on line! :-)

PSN outage due to 'external intrusion' [update]

Apr 24th 2011 3:10AM (Joystiq)
The only good news I found in all this is that the PS2 online gaming STILL WORKS !! :-)
I just got done playing some Flat Out 2 on line with some friends of mine.
I was also playing some on line Socom 2 with the whole 778 people that are on line still playing this great classic.
I only wish DOA Hardcore was an on line title.
So for those who kept their PS2's or have the backwards compatiple PS3's you may want to dust off those on line PS2 games and enjoy. :-)

Go get them b******* Sony!
