Mass Effect 3 isn't launching on Steam, requires Origin

Jan 16th 2012 2:36PM (Joystiq)
I get it when people say that they won't purchase the game from Origin, but those who say that they won't play Mass Effect 3 at all? Liars!

Meet Final Fantasy XIII-2's moogle, kupo

The only FF game I have played is XII and I never managed to finish it. I quite enjoyed it while I played it though, so I'll probably try this one out.
Also, I'm new here, so does anybody know how to change your picture? I've tried a few times and no change. The whole "Edit Picture" thing doesn't seem to work.

How on earth did Rayman Origins not reach the top 10? It's the best fun I've had with a game for a long time. I can't help but burst out laughing at the way the characters die, it's just hilarious.

Vita sales drop again in third week

@mrantimatter That makes perfect sense, but I was speaking in terms of the bigger sticks. $19 isn't cheap, but the bigger sticks are outrageously priced. They need to put the big sticks in deals so people won't grumble about having to spend more money down the road.

I was pleasantly surprised by the original one on PSP. Hopefully this one won't have an agonizingly long load screen before the main menu.

Happy to see a good game succeed.

Vita sales drop again in third week

Jan 5th 2012 12:10PM (Joystiq)
Personally I don't think the Vita itself needs a price drop, I think the problem lies in the MS pricing. The current price of $250 is great until you realize that you won't be able to play some games with just a cartridge and a system. Hence the real price of the Vita ends up well over 300 with a game and an MS.
If Sony were to perhaps offer a reduced price MS with a game, say selling a game and a 16GB stick for 75, I think they would see an instant sales boost. But that of course would work against having system/game bundles. Sony need to give greater value in the bundles. Say a Vita, a game and a 32GB MS in a box for $320-340. The production price of the Memory Sticks is well below the retail price, so such a deal would make sense for both consumers and Sony.
