Heard a story on NPR about the CA case last night and there was someone on saying that the incident of this accident increased 13 times in one month from January to February after the first reports came out in January.

His point was the car hasn't changed. People "may" "may" be doing this for a payday. We'll let the facts speak for themselves once they actually inspect the cars and see what happened and not just rely on what people said.

These are real people's lives that we're talking about. This isn't a game. People are having it really rough and the US Gov is helping save jobs and helping people survive. If they hadn't stepped in... 10% unemployment would have looked great right now.

Sure GM and Chrysler made horrible mistakes and the heads of the corporations should be punished - but not the people of Detroit.

Hydrogen has been "30 years away" for the past 30 years.

Electric cars are available NOW. Viable plugins will be available in 1-2 years costing under $60k - unlike Hydrogen cars which cost $600k.

I predict that EVs are going to take off like crazy once the Tesla model S comes out.
