It's going to take like 5 minutes to learn it. I was playing as ps2 recently had to relearn how to play it as well. So what.

And your criticisms of the controller is voided by the fact that you haven't used it. I've seen plenty of times people criticise controllers based on pictures when in reality they are good. I read on a forum a giu who had never played the snes ask whether it was possible to play the controller because it didn't have handles.

People who have played has given it hight marks in ergonomics.

Nintendo has specifically designed a controller with the hardcore gamer in mind. I'm sorry but saying you wanted a tradtional controller is like someone complaining they got a ferrari when they wanted a BMW. Or better yet, complainign they got a highend pc that can play Crysis when you wanted a laptop.

What's really amusing is that Nintendo is now the only one targeting hardcore gamer. They've designed a controller for hardcore gamer. it does everything that hardcore gamers wanted Nintendo to do. head set. keyboard, 3rd party friendly controller. It's a controller that does all that.

I don't think you'll be forced to use the motion controller. Seems you'll be allowed to move around and shoot with the analogue sticks

You don't have to use the motion control. The WiiU comes with its own tradtional control. It's like an option. You don't need to use it.

No one asked for the dpad, no one asked for shoulder buttons and no one asked for analogue sticks. If Nintendo listened to you guys we wouldn't have any of these things.

AND THE BLOODY CONTROLLER IS A NORMAL CONTROLLER! YOU CAN USE IT THE EXACT SAME WAY AS A BLOODY NORMAL CONTROLLER. It does everything EVERYTHING that a normal controller does but with extra stuff, which you dont even have to use. This is the most 3rd party controller Nintendo has ever made.

Hardcore gamers like to act like they are sophisticated gamers playing sophisticaed games. Well Nintendo has brought a piece of tech that is the most sophisticaed out there. It works perfectly for online games.

Yes they are damned if they do and damned if they don't. If they brought out a normal controller people would complain that it isn't innovative.

Look I'm not a fanboy. I got called a troll hundreds of times for bashing the Wii and the stupid Wiimotes. I believe that Nintendo has solved all our problems. It listened to the gamers and has came up with the perfect solution. It's hypocrital of us to attack them for this.

Hardly anyone plays local anymore, So only like a dozen people are going to lose out.
