Simple don't buy it. That's one I'd 'like' to have, but it ain't worth it for the little time I'll play it.

I keep requesting to Nintendo that they make free VC transfers from Wii, eventually they will give in.

that's why on every 3DS survey about the VC console I say an awesome feature would be to have the ability to transfer Wii VC games, or provide the game for free for 3DS owners who purchased it on Wii. Eventually it'll stick.

Exactly... people like myself who can now finally play Assassin's Creed. I've been interested, but not $300 investment interested (system + game). Out of the non-Wii games I have knowledge about, only Assassin's Creed and Skyrim have interested me enough for a second console. Since I needed a new PC; it was easy enough to buy Skyrim for that.

@EIranzer I was able to beat stage 3. I always was stuck in the dark level above the technodrome. 3 wasn't hard if you knew you could visit that first house numerous times for all the missiles you could need. Which I figured out from the pizza trick in the first level (exiting the sewer, then re-entering for a fresh pizza). The airport level was hard.

I did manage to beat it in college not too long ago though. One of the hardest games I've ever beaten.

@SThompson Assuming you have it downloaded on the SD card, you can check. Simply go to my downloads and if it shows up (since it will still say you need to download it since it doesn't recognize it's on the SD card).

And Duckhunt had the cheat where you could control the ducks with the second controller.

Megaman 3 was harder when you were by yourself. I think left or right froze time. Use of that with the manhole you made yourself invulnerable, except when you picked up a life thing, or met some spikes. You couldn't shoot your blaster, but all enemies couldn't kill you, including the robot masters.

No you have to have bought the 3DS prior to Aug 12th to get it free. They said they had "no plans to release to everyone". Which they certainly could someday, just no immediate plans.

I was surprised that Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga didn't make the list.

And Mario 3 or Super Mario World instead of Yoshi's Island.
