Given that movie violence is much more realistic than video game violence I'd say that is pretty accurate. When was the last time you turned your head in disgust because the results of your gun shots on a 3d model were just too disturbing. As realistic as they want to say it is it is still far from reality.
The definitions are simple: A hardcore gamer is somebody whose primary hobby and use of free time goes towards gaming. A casual gamer is some whose hobby and primary use of free time is not dedicated to gaming but to something else. There are different extremes within each group but the definition still stands.
The problem people have with defining these terms is that they try to describe the person of each type rather than set the criteria.
I was once a hardcore gamer but as I got older I found other hobbies and now gaming takes a back seat to those hobbies which makes me a casual gamer.
They won't let people play a game depicting violence, however unrealistic it may be, but they are perfectly fine with letting kids tackle each other on the football fields or participate in real violence such as wrestling; you know the sports that involve taking out aggression on people for real.
On a technical level any disorder is an inferiority. Subjectively, is a matter of debate but if you have epilepsy you have a defect and thus are inferior. I have certain allergies and skin pigmentation disorder that gives me an extremely high chance of getting cancer which then makes me inferior to those without these conditions. Being inferior does not mean you have to hate yourself.
