The review is fair, and well written. I'm deeply disappointed by the review, as I was watching this for over a year as well, and hoping it would be as awesome as it looked. However, other reviews around the net are verifying these noted problems, so it's not bias or the like. Quake Wars was a huge disappointment, but I'd hoped they learned from their mistakes. Seems not.

I'm totally baffled by the inability to see some of these problems though. How's that possible? Assuming you internally playtest your own game, the choke point and almost-immediate topping of your class abilities, should have been a no-brainer. Why do people keep playing COD? Well, they can prestige and keep on climbing the ranks. Hate COD if you want, but there's something in that system that brings people back. We like to receive rewards and unlocks. If you can get everything in a single day... then that's hugely flawed.

Never mind all the other issues that are enough to break the deal for me. Order cancelled. I so wanted to get this game and love it, but I'm not giving them $60 for a mess.
