I'm pleased to hear the news of a new Alan Wake game. I both loved and loathed the first game. I loved the originality, the way it was shot and split into episodes, and some genuinely scary moments in the game. I loathed how repetitive the game became, how virtually the whole of the game took place in the forest and in the dark, that there was never really opportunity to explore the town or its inhabitants/characters. Nor was I particularly keen on the DLC episodes (I only played the first one as I got it free). Hopefully this new game will be an improvement over the last one. Don't get me wrong, I still absolutely loved the first one!
