I hate this series and I love this series.

I love it because the visual style is awesome, the gameplay is so unique, and there's so much content.

Unfortunately, I HATE it more than i love it. The music based combat is just ridiculous. You have to be so incredibly accurate, and sometimes missing only one or two beats will just outright kill you. Then you have to learn and memorize all the musical variations to initiate specific moves. And I completely agree with the grinding. It's way too much and far to repetitive.

There's something here I really, REALLY want to love... But I hate it. If only someone could remove the grinding and somehow redesign it as a similar game without the musical component..
