Is it important to play the first game and Omega before jumping into this one?

Mists of Pandaria tries to breathe new life into an old World of Warcraft

I have to admit, I'm slightly more interested than I was when this expansion was first announced. WoW needs a complete revamp to stay relevant, something that can convince old players like myself to come back.

Then again, maybe I'm just trying to grab on to anything after having my desire to play video games crushed by ME3's ending.

Hudson: 'Your feedback has always mattered' in Mass Effect 3, even now

But that's exactly the problem. Giving every player the exact same ending makes our choices meaningless. No matter who you save, who you sacrifice, who you side with, it all ends the same. That is not a fitting end to a series that has advertised "choice" from day one.

Let's also consider the fact that EA/Bioware stated REPEATEDLY that ME3 would be a decent entry point for newcomers, a ridiculous statement in itself, but also one that completely nullifies the whole "the entire game is the finale" argument.

Metareview: Mass Effect 3

Sadly, the gay thing is just their excuse. Ever since Dragon Age 2, which admittedly was a huge disappointment, it has become cool to hate on Bioware in the deepest recesses of the internet. All of those 0s and 1s are just shallow attempts to bring the score down in the hopes that someone won't buy it due to metacritic alone. A lot of those scores showed up within minutes of the reviews opening up, so chances are a lot of them just read spoilers online and based everything on that. Short example, a lot of them are whining that Anderson isn't on the council even if you chose him at the end of ME1, but if you read the codex it explains why.

With a few hours in, I'm leaning towards an 8 or so. I'm having a ton of fun, but some of the writing definitely took a turn for the worse.

@lawsmar you actually don't have to buy ME3 to get the 50 dollars off a kinect. Gamestop has been selling them at that price for a couple weeks now.

Persona 3, Tactics Ogre, and other PSP RPGs that will live on my Vita

Figured as much, but I wanted to make sure. I would have probably bought a vita if there had been some way, but as is I will wait for the inevitable price drop.

Persona 3, Tactics Ogre, and other PSP RPGs that will live on my Vita

Valkyria Chronicles 2 is easily one of the best games I played on the PSP, and it breaks my heart to think that 3 probably won't be localized.

Also, if you own physical copies of these games, is there a way to get them to the vita? My psp died a few weeks ago, but I really want to finish Persona 3 and Valkyria Chronicles 2, but I don't want to have to buy them again online.

For anyone who hasn't played Witcher 2 yet but plans to, I highly recommend using some kind of USB controller. It makes the game way easier to control and more fun.
