Mar 12th 2011 3:28PM (Massively)The first being the stamina system. At lower levels stamina does not seem to be a problem, though as you get higher in level the amount of stamina required to enter dungeons exponentially increases while your pool doesn't. It's a problem. The largest problem with this though is the inability to pick up loot past the blue tier, whcih may sound okay, until you realise that it also lowers your loot chanses for all tiers below. So if you were getting 20 white / green drops per map, you might get 5-7 now. So farming goes completely out the window in any regard.
Secondly the skills are pretty boring. There's not much verity in the class i played (summoner equivalent), and most of the first 20 levels or so in the tree I went down ended up only powering up the same units I had since level 5 and 10.
Last but not least, the majority of the game literally is a diablo clone. You get a cube similar to diablo's horadric cube. Teleports and shops look and feel almost identical. To many this would be a good thing, but to me I found this a bit boring - like rehashing the same game which was good in its time but definitely fails to recapture some of the elements which i personally liked most about diablo, the theme - and impending sense of doom. Instead you're left with a bubbly, almost silly jaunt through a MMO world which feels unoriginal, with some pretty bad business decisions.
Minecraft becomes a million-seller
Jan 12th 2011 5:45PM (Joystiq)Aside from the full game had you purchased the alpha you would have received free life time updates, which you won't receive with the retail. That's actually part of the reason I purchased the alpha.

Oct 30th 2010 2:00PM (Massively)You can only access the first boat's missions without a coin penalty - so no you cant access any level you've previously been to unless they changed it in OB.
Additionally, 30 coins can be spent in roughly 1.5-2 hours meaning you're paying +5 a hour to play a game. I've looked at the math a number of times and this game's subscription model for dungeon running non-low tier content is still one of the most obscenely priced things I've ever seen.

Oct 2nd 2010 12:42PM (Massively)There's roughly 16 mobs of which there's variants of each, and about 14 different bosses which are not too different from one another save for 4 of them.
The maps themselves are actually the same map, over and over with about 2 different tile sets, and 15 or so prefab rooms per tile set.
on a given map you might run through rooms like this:
A-B-C-D
While on map 2 you might run:
D-A-E-B-C
I cant disagree that the game isnt fun, but the token system will be broken once the game comes out, and seems to be less of a tool placed by the devs to make money, than it is to allow people to burn through there game in just one day.
