@Lateris The two aspects you mentioned are essentially unchanged... though in public areas like sector space seem to have more players present, so you see a lot more people when you're zooming in between POIs. However the quality of the missions and a lot of other aspects have gone up dramatically. I'd try giving it another shot.
@BigD145 Yeah, possible, hence the rating system. 10,000 missions generated x 1% (assuming your estimate is accurate) = 100 missions... that's a lot of play time. For me at least.
I've been a lifer on STO since launch and just recently hit max rank... and this seems like a pretty fun way of bolstering the game's content on top of the weekly missions (which I have a blast with with my small Fleet). One of the coolest parts is that you can manufacture missions that involve interacting with characters in public areas like Earth Space Dock. Seems to me that user generated content + rating system = win
I don't know... I've had a few years of experience as a QA tester at a few different devs and that number seems pretty high... I doubt they were including the average temporary full-time tester.
Yep, definitely doing the Star Trek Online thing. If they can keep the servers up!
Eyeing Heavy Rain, too... but between STO, Mass Effect 2, BFBC2 demo, Steam versions of Max Payne and XCOM, and interspersed MW2 sessions, who has time to keep up??
Any word on the length of this? I loved RE5 for the co-op especially, and I'll probably get these DLCs regardless, but I'd prefer if it was actually somewhat meaty and not just a 1-hour experience.
I'm desperately trying to get in my playthrough of Dragon Age (maybe see what some of the other Origin stories are like?) and my fill of MW2 and Spirit tracks before Mass Effect 2 and Star Trek Online come out toward the end of January... then it's all downhill from there! Can't wait for BF:BC2 either.
