I heard about new glasses-free 3D tech being developed that will use less battery life and a better viewing angle range. I'll bet Nintendo will refresh the 3DS within a year or two with that new tech. I'll just wait til then. The game lineup is really not pushing me to buy one. Though 3D movies from Netflix is kind of enticing.

Resident Evil 6 would be awesome with this implementation. Imagine playing side-stories side by side. One person plays it on their controller and the other on the tv and there's crossovers from time to time. Not to mention you can truly watch each other's backs without a split screen as the person with the controller will have a completely different perspective. You have to really turn your back to the TV to look behind you.

Imagine CoD with this or any multiplayer game. Imagine total mindf**k perspectives in a high action game.

It offers a lot of possibilities, I just hope developers use it to its full potential.

I wish they chose a capacitive display though, feel like they really limited themselves with just a resistive screen.

They should release the controller now to be used alongside the Wii and the new console whenever it's ready.
