Why in the f**k is Wipeout 2048 $40? I'm pretty sure I bought Wipeout HD for half the price. Is the PSN Wipeout 2048 going to be $40 as well?

Lets just stop the damn speculation until a formal announcement please. Starting to get tired of the abundance of next gen console rumors lately.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 review: Fixing the past

@uhduh
To each their own. Though the process of development for FFXII was shaky, I feel they still ended up with an amazing final product. I've always thought that the game would of benefited from the exclusion of Vaan as originally intended. Basch and Balthier are clearly more interesting characters with backstories that are actually significant to the plot. Keeping Basch as the lead would of also given Gabranth's role even more weight (he still kicked ass though). Balthier still took the spotlight in the end though. He is the leading man after all.

@Liquidfingers
Finished? I wouldn't say that at all. Despite the loud backlash, FFXIII was a very solid game. Not special among other titles in the series by any means, but solid nonetheless.

And you can't HD-ify FFVII. Those graphics are s**t now. Not visually apealing on any level. They'll just have to remake it entirely if they decide to revisit it. Which I hope they don't. Let FFVII rest already. I'm beyond sick of the FFVII fanboys whining for a remake. Not saying you're one of them by the way. Anywho, FFXIII-2 looks decent, and every tiny glimpse we've gotten at VersusXIII has gotten me pumped like I used to for a new FF title. The damn game just needs to come out already.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 review: Fixing the past

@Naru now in 3D
Gonna have to disagree. I've been playing FF games my entire life. I've played every entry in the main series. Though I still love FF4-9, I enjoyed FFX a lot. To add, FFXII is my favorite game in the series hands down. It's just overall incredibly solid and polished. The music, the battle system (Yes, imo the best in the series), the art direction (Hideo Minaba, yes please), and the incredibly beautiful world of Ivalice. FFXII also brought the older crystal lore from the older titles back to the forefront, which I loved. Hell it's the first FF that actually felt like a fantasy game among the contemporary titles save FFIX. Honestly, I have no idea how FFXII has as many naysayers as it does. Typically it's people who have started with FFVII that dislike it. Not all, but a good amount I've noticed. Anyway I think I'm gonna go play it over again now.

Didn't mean to rant by the way... >_>
